2009 Update

Apologies for the massive delay, but here are a few pictures which prove I'm still alive and well (and in Japan). These are from September to December, I think, though the first few are from before the summer holidays. I'm not 100% sure - that's how long I've neglected this thing. I'm in more of the pictures than usual, sorry about that but I'm just doing what I'm told. Hopefully I'll a) have time to see some more interesting places and b) get the pictures up a little faster from now on.


This picture seems to divide opinion. There are those who claim it is the most ridiculous thing they have ever seen, while others count it among the great iconic images of modern times. I think both opinions are equally valid.

Was at a temple by chance on the day of a festival for 3, 5 and 7-year-olds. Some of them seemed to be enjoying it more than others.
